"I made a trip recently to Monterey Jack's and the food was as good and plentiful as ever. I'd really like to comment on the server, Miguel. Once seated, I was greeted by Miguel instantly who took my drink order and brought it to my table within a minute. He saw that I was reviewing the menu and didn't hover while I was making my choice. He returned to my table, took my order and saw that I had finished a bowl of queso. He brought another bowl without hesitation along with corn and flour tortillas. My meal arrived quickly and he asked if I needed anything else. I needed more salsa and Miguel returned and brought another bowl of salsa within 15 seconds.

My drink was refilled just as it was getting low and this tells me that Miguel was keeping an eye on what I needed. He treated me as if I was his only customer of the night. His focus was on providing excellent service and he accomplished his mission.

I was completely impressed with Miguel. I've received good service at restaurants before, but rarely as good as this. He has what it takes to work in the restaurant industry and Monterey Jack's has an asset here they need to hold onto. Miguel could go anywhere and be a success"

"I've driven by this place 100 times, before I decided to give it a try. I've always noticed that there were not many cars in the parking lot which made me scared to try it. This place should always be full. Monterey Jack's goes on my list of favorites in MWC. OK, for the review..

Here is what I had:

CHIPS - thick, hot and fresh, very good

SALSA - is good & homemade, I also ordered some HOT salsa which was actually HOT and (made with habaneros). Very Good.

TORTILLAS - flour, they were store-bought (not homemade), but they were FRESH and good.

CARNITAS - which was perfectly well-seasoned Pork Tips, and mixed grilled veggies. The Beans & Rice were Great, and the Presentation was equally good. It also came with some Pico & Guacamole which was good.

It is clean and nice on the inside, and the wait staff is VERY polite. The price was also right in the sweet spot. Go on Wednesdays for 11.99 double fajitas.

"Love Monterey Jacks in MWC, good food, good service, we had been going to another Mexican restaurant in Holiday Square shopping center but Monterey Jack's is much better, cheese is completely melted on the enchiladas, good chips, good sauce. They bust their butts clearing the tables for customers waiting. Good management."

"In my opinion, is the best Mexican food around. Great chips with delicious salsa. Don't forget to ask for their spicy salsa though. They will make that fresh for you and it is spicy! Carne Guiso is the way to go"

"We've been eating here for a year or so. Everything I've tried so far has been very tasty — the fish tacos are light and delicious, tamales are good, salsa is fresh. Wish they would add some more Mexican soups like posole or such. Anyways, the service is what brings us back. After coming in 2-3 times, the servers remembered us, our drinks order, what my husband orders (almost the same each time - sigh). We ate for years and years at another Mwc tex mex with a pepper in the name with servers who seemed like they couldn't care less about us or their jobs. I appreciate the effort at MJ and hope they keep up what they have started "

"This is my favorite Mexican restaurant. The food and service are always good. They aim to please. My favorite thing on the menu is the chicken chimichanga. I will admit that I haven't tried much else here, other than this and the complimentary fare. They are the only place that makes my chimi EXACTLY how I like it so it's hard for me to order anything else when I come here."

"Efficient and friendly service. I loved the fact that they aimed to please me. I have had the hardest time finding a place that truly has authentic Mexican food north of Texas and east of New Mexico. The manager Juan was open to suggestions and plans on expanding the menu to cater to customers. I had chicken enchiladas, the chicken was well-seasoned shredded breast meat, not under-seasoned clumpy meat like most Oklahoma Mexican restaurants. Kudos to them!!!!!."
